Novum House was designed to meet the Client’s needs for a beautiful, sustainable new home while remaining sensitive to the surrounding conservation area.
The exterior envelope of the house is constructed using structurally insulated panels to provide a sustainable and thermally efficient home for the Client. Stone, brickwork, and slate were sourced locally to ensure the home’s durability and create a beautiful aesthetic.
The curved handrail and stairs are examples of locally crafted joinery. Previously owned items have been repurposed into timber screens for the Snug and original Crittal doors reglazed for the utility room and pantry.
