Design
Our design process begins by receiving your drawings and requesting final frozen architectural drawings in PDF and DWG formats. After allocating a dedicated designer and engineer for your project, we meticulously review and assess the preliminary drawings. We prioritise practicality and cost-effectiveness at every step, aiming to meet your specific criteria for approval. Once approved, we move swiftly to finalise the construction suite of drawings, ensuring that the end result aligns with your vision for a practical and cost-effective SIP system.
Manufacture
When it comes to manufacturing your SIP system, precision is key at every step. The FAB PACK is crucial for designing, fabricating, and installing SIPs/Timber Frames efficiently. Attention to detail during the design phase ensures optimal panel cutting and minimal waste.
Utilising the FAB PACK creates custom-shaped panels, reducing joints and enhancing cost-efficiency while elevating the construction project’s quality. Components like floor joists, trusses, steels, and glulams are coordinated within the FAB PACK, streamlining the process before the site work begins.
Supply
Before delivering your system to your site, we want to ensure a seamless installation process. We’ll cover a few key details to make sure everything runs smoothly.
Pre-Start Items – We’ll conduct a pre-start meeting and implement the SBUK program, STA notifications, RAMS, and Scaffold Mark Up. We’ll also determine the transport type and plan the delivery logistics.
Site Visit – Before commencing any work, we’ll conduct a site visit to assess access, road closures, storage, power supply, scaffolding, craneage, hoists, lifts, and welfare facilities. This proactive approach ensures that everything is in place for a successful installation.
Install
At SIP Build UK, we ensure a seamless installation process for our SIP systems, setting the stage for a successful build. Our expert installation team handles the on-site assembly of system sections, meticulously covering the ground floor, 1st floor chamber & deck, first floor, 2nd floor, and roof.
