York St John University Creative Centre is one of 11 projects shortlisted for the 2023 RIBA Yorkshire Awards.
York St John University Building features a glulam timber frame and various timber finishes, the BREEAM Excellent building delivers the University’s vision for a highly sustainable, low-energy building that will provide a new focal point on campus. A collaborative approach, innovative design, and attention to detail have created a visually stunning new learning and working environment that can be reconfigured if requirements change.
RIBA Yorkshire Awards shortlist showcases the talent of architects and their teams. As RIBA Yorkshire Jury Chair Simon Baker explains, architecture can contribute to the well-being of people and communities by reflecting the diversity and richness of the region’s buildings and spaces.
This Spring, a regional jury will assess all projects, and the winning projects will be announced.
